About the Team
Rev Jonathan & Judith Keefe. Jonathan is minister of Robroyston Church of Scotland, Glasgow. He and his wife, Judith, married in 2004. They lost their first baby, Charis, in 2007 and have had subsequent losses. They have two boys and a girl. Judith runs the website, www.undertherainbow.org.uk, a Christian resource for the loss of a baby, infertility, adoption and fostering.
Al & Val MacInnes married in 2001 and are based in the Highlands. They have experience of infertility, infant loss and adoption. Al is training for pastoral ministry with the Free Church of Scotland.
Dr Marjory MacLean is a consultant obstetrician in Ayrshire Maternity Unit. She has specialised in the area of early pregnancy problems and miscarriage for over 20 years, and is passionate about care at the time of loss. She is a medical advisor to the Miscarriage Association and was Chairperson of the Scottish Early Pregnancy Network for 10 years. She was involved in the Scottish Government committee which brought in legislation that shared cremation is the minimum accepted standard following miscarriage. She lives in Glasgow and worships at Burnside Blairbeth Church of Scotland.
Dr Fiona Schneider is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and a fellow of the royal college of obstetricians and gynaecologists. She trained in London, Oxford and Leeds before moving to Germany where she worked in the local hospitals and then ran her own practice. Fiona is a member of All Saints Parish Church, Ilkley with a role as trainee reader, Pcc secretary and vulnerable persons officer. She served for two years as the northern England representative for the Christian medical fellowship and mentors and supports medical and nursing staff. Fiona seeks to live out her faith on the cutting edge of society and works for Wakefield contraceptive and sexual health service
Kevin Stirling is married to Sheena and they live in Perthshire. As a couple they have recent experience of the adoption process. After 18 years of marriage they adopted a baby son. They worship at Grace Church Dundee.
Helen Anderson is married to Gordon and they have an 11 year old son, Luke. Helen works as a part-time administrator in Kilsyth Community Church and also works a few hours per week with Revival FM, a community Christian radio station based in Cumbernauld. They discovered they both had fertility issues and eventually had their son on their 8th attempt at IVF/ICSI.
Helen was involved in running an infertility support group and now meets up with others going through fertility issues on a one to one basis.
